Life''Space''Fantasy is a whimsical scene of my bizarre dreams of nature, the universe, and intimate relationships. There are a lot of metaphors in this body of work such as butterfly for freedom, eye for curiosity, crab for optimism, aliens for the unknown, cats for companionship, snail for persistence, etc.

Genetically modified E.coli's genetic code was modified by scientists by adding new genes. These new genes make the bacteria produce colored pigments, such as cyan, purple, or magenta that change the color of the bacteria. Even though all the bacteria are the same species (E. coli), they differ in their properties because of their modifications. Under UV light, these special E.coli glows colorful neon colors.

This bioluminescent art series uses genetically modified bacteria-E.coli from the School of Visual Arts Bio Lab.

转基因大肠杆菌的遗传密码被科学家修改，加入了新的基因。这些新基因使细菌产生彩色色素，如青色、紫色或洋红色，从而改变了细菌的颜色。尽管所有细菌都是同一物种（大肠杆菌），但由于经过改造，它们的特性各不相同。在紫外线的照射下，这些特殊的彩色大肠杆菌会发出耀眼的彩色霓虹光芒。
